The company founders Luca Messina and Samuele Sanna are two entrepreneurs who met in California by chance and discovered they had the same dream.

Luca, at the time a young graduate in sports management and business with a lifelong background in sports and skilled in languages and communication.

Samuele, format creator and pioneer of the Italian MMA scene’s development.

In 2017 they both decided to join their forces and initiate Calibian Management.

Their mission is to help promising talents showcase their value to the world and leave an impact on the planet through sports management.

Samuele Sanna: “Everybody knows the current big MMA stars – most of them come from the USA and Brazil. But many of the next big stars will be come from Europe!

We believe in this and we work daily to make this dream come true for a new generation of European fighters.”

In 2020 the founders of MMA in Austria, Gerhard and Michael Ettl, joined forces with Samuele and Luca.

The Ettl brothers introduced MMA to Austria in the late 1990s and were active fighters in the early 2000s.

They are successful MMA promotors and coaches.

A consequence of the creation of this new team gave birth to the Calibian MMA Performance Center, located in Graz / Austria, the heart of Europe.
